Rainmaker Advertising

Christopher J. Miller

Rainmaker’s “Visionary”

I’m X-Ray man. I specialize in seeing through the muck and mire of your organization and finding your true selling proposition. But that’s not all. Due to a dramatic accident at birth, my X-ray ability is firmly rooted between my left and right brain. Thus my organizational side and my creative side come together for one great vision. With more than 15 years in the communications industry, I provide a truly visionary experience! Organized and efficient. Chaotic and creative.  All these skills come together and will assist you in discovering the most innovative yet effective method for marketing your service and product. If you want someone to see through the confusion to your advertising solution, I’m your man.

Fun Facts:

  • In college I participated and survived a 24-hour dance-a-thon.
  • When I’m blue, I watch my favorite movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
Regardless of the time of year.
  • I actually danced the two-step while wearing my favorite Halloween costume,
    Sister Mary Ruler.

Rainmaker’s “Bean Counter”

Details, structure and organization…sexy stuff, eh? Well, maybe not. But they're the building blocks that form the foundation of an organization. If put together the right way, the structure will support endless growth; put together shoddily, it will keep falling apart and forming obstacles in everyone’s path. Maintaining this structure is still exciting to me after more than 20 years spent establishing operations-oriented businesses in the telecommunications and insurance industries. Like the bricks-and-mortar foundation under your feet, I’m pretty invisible - after all, you only really notice it when it starts to crack. But I’m always there, vigilantly holding together all those lil’ details so you don’t have to think about them!

Fun Facts:

  • I once caught a burglar in my apartment & held him there until the police arrived.
  • I've now been with Rainmaker Advertising for more than 13 years (it went by so quickly!).
  • I've got a real fetish for anime and manga.

“Making Things Work”

I’ve been “making things work” on Web sites for more than 10 years, building features such as content and user management, shopping carts, and many other features that require the user to interact with your site. I specialize in finding solutions for small and medium size businesses, making it easier for their customers and members to communicate with them. I enjoy challenges and always look forward to hearing new ideas from clients. My favorite question begins with, “Can you make my Web site do…?”

Fun Facts:

  • My favorite past time is riding motorcycles and I typically average around
10,000 miles per year. One long, relaxing ride can undo weeks of stress.
  • I have a BS degree in Agriculture Education and my first “real” job was teaching
Vocational Agriculture at the high school level.

Lisa Bare

Rainmaker’s “Firestarter”

I am responsible for spreading the spark of Rainmaker’s creative genius to new clients as well as igniting the imaginations of our current client base. I have more than 20 years experience in sales and team leadership, most recently as a National Sales Leader for the Longaberger Company™, America’s premier maker of handcrafted baskets, and home and lifestyle products. I love getting to know people and finding out what can take their business to the next level. If you see me at the next business luncheon, take a minute to introduce yourself!

Fun Facts:

  • I love going to the movies. One day I’m going to move from theater
to theater and watch movies all day long – ah retirement!
  • I’ve never eaten a pickle. Generally, if it’s green, I don’t eat it.
  • I was the dodge ball star of our elementary school.

"Colors Outside the Lines"

To me, the world is a great big puzzle of shapes and colors.  I love taking different elements and assembling them into the ideal graphics for your business.  There’s something truly exciting about combining the perfect design elements with the best fonts.  Design is a kind of shorthand.  Your graphics should instantly communicate the spirit and message of your company.  I’m here to translate that message into powerful images.

A graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Communications Design, before coming to Rainmaker, I worked as a designer, helping to promote hundreds of customers by assisting them in their visual branding.  Today, I want to use my knowledge and experience to help you do the same.

Fun Facts:

  • My lifelong dream is to go bungee jumping in New Zealand.  The rush of feeling my head and shoulders plunge into the water would be exhilarating!
  • I am a proponent of waffle iron safety.
  • I enjoy rollerblading and bike riding, but most of all; I love the company of my little Maltese, Roxi.

Joseph Crisalli

Our "Content King"

Words are everywhere, you know.  They’re just waiting for you to snatch them from the air and put them in the right order.  Writing is my great passion.  I’ve been enchanted by writing for as long as I could read.  Even before that, I delighted myself by creating little narratives.  Other kids pushed their toys around.  I staged elaborate operas with mine—complete with dénouements and startling climaxes.  The wonderful thing about writing is that it has no limits.

I’m always tickled to write about new subjects and relish the opportunity to learn, discover and grow.  I’ve spent the last fifteen years working in the publishing industry. Throughout that time, I’ve mastered the art of writing for different media.  Print, Web, video—I’m ready to provide whatever you need.   At this point, there’s nothing I can’t write about.  Let me help you pluck the words from the sky, and arrange them into the top-notch copy that your company deserves.

Fun Facts:

  • Forever a frustrated puppeteer, I’m an associate member of Britain’s Punch & Judy Fellowship.
  • I make a point to unashamedly sing to my dog, Bertie, every day.
  • I’m mad about antiques and the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

“Says It Like It Is”

I’m the Dilbert of the team; I have experience in the corporate communications world in high-tech, finance and insurance. I’ve managed all types of marketing communications from HR, marketing plans and public relations to global communication launches in 30 languages.

At Rainmaker, I enjoy the flexibility of working with diverse companies and associations to market new, exciting products and services. I love leading business strategy sessions and uncovering creative ways to go to market. Let me work with you on your marketing plans and sales messages to position you for new growth!

Fun Facts:

  • I’ve experienced a crash landing in a hot air balloon.
  • My first ambition in life was to be a Tahitian dancer.
(I began life thinking everyone went to Luaus every Friday night.)
  • Once I played Yatzee and got four Yatzees in one game.
(I should have been in Vegas that night!)

Rainmaker’s “Road Runner”

I’m the one who's ‘on the road’ most of the day, out and about meeting with vendors to ensure they understand our specifications and have what they need to meet your deadlines. I match the vendor to the project - whether you need specialty advertising, digital or traditional print purchasing, direct mail services, packaging, fulfillment, DVD duplication, kitting, etc. You name it, I’ve probably done it. With more than 20 years in the print and brokering business, I’ve managed all kinds of marketing projects. I find the right vendor to match your budget and specifications-whether you’re a Fortune 500 company or a small business owner. Beep, beep!

Fun Facts:

  • I’m a Eucher fanatic! I learned it in Alaska on a cruise and haven’t
    stopped playing ever since.
  • I’m living proof that the ‘Patch’ works for a cruise. With a typhoon
near us on the Alaskan cruise, you really had to hold on. I was one
of the few who kept on eating.
  • I always wanted to be a nun when I grew up. I found love instead,
but I’m still in the business of service.
